"I work with raw materials like beeswax, dirt, charcoal, and rust, organic by-products that imply the irreversible, the inevitable, the continuum. I mimic erosive, regenerative processes like the repetitive etch of sand, rubbing and removing in order to reveal, and the reparative, linear stitch marking the passage of time. I'm always looking for the balance between spontaneity and discipline."
